Will Mani repeat 'Athadu' for 'Khaleja'?

Music director mani sharma has become so outdated these days that none of his albums are topping the charts. It was long long ago that audience enjoyed the real stuff from this sensational music director who brought a new trend in giving music to top stars of South.

Offlate his projects like ‘Varudu, Em Pillo Em Pillado, Shubhapradam, Kothimooka, Happy Happyga, Don Seenu’ haven’t been able to strike the chord as typical mani sharma’s tinge was missing. Music lovers in our state have pinned hopes on his next release ‘Khaleja’ with Mahesh Babu and Trivikram.

Trio of Mahesh, Trivikram and Mani is a proved combo with memorable success of ‘Athadu,’ an altime musical classic for Mahesh Fans.  Well, ‘Khaleja’ is a big challenge for all three to make joint strides in their career after facing respective professional troubles. Let us hope, Mani succeeds in repeating his ‘Athadu’ magic this time with ‘Khaleja.’

Mahesh and Pawan sharing the COP burden

Cop stories are not new to Tollywood. Ranging from chota mota stars to super stars, many heroes and directors churned BO blockbusters using these cop stories. Off late with change of audience psyche and predictable story lines of directors have created a situation where Tolly onscreen cop’s misfired their bullet action.

Except Gopichand’s action stunts none of the present genre of hero’s really proved their mettle in Cop stories. Movies like Salute, Astram, Baanam, Homam, Satyameva Jayathe, Eenadu and Siddham sank without a trace, making dream merchants discard the time tested theme, once considered a safe bet at Box Office.

After the weak run of ‘Golimaar’ in this season; pawan kalyan is again coming with a tough cop story in the form of ‘Komaram Puli’ which is all set to release this month. With too many expectations on the movie, onus is on pawan kalyan to prove that cop story is still a safe bet. On the other side, Mahesh Babu’s next big ticket untitled film with director Srinu Vytla is reportedly a cop story, entire plot still to be developed. Though Mahesh delivered one of the biggest industry hit ‘Pokiri’ with cop story but unfortunately Puri’s scripting focussed more on goons rather than police.

If stars like Pawan and Mahesh can’t convince and woo their Fans as cops, we can’t expect more cop stories  from our heroes in near future. So, it is Mahesh and Pawan sharing the COP burden.

Trivikram to re-invent himself with Venky

Dialogue writer turned director trivikram srinivas is presently busy with bringing the final product of ‘Khaleja’ at the earliest. With already an agreed project of penning dialogues for Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Love Aaj Kal’ remake, Trivikram is known to have even fixed up dates with Victory Venkatesh to direct his next film.
   
Though Trivikram had earlier penned dialogues for Venky’s super hit films like ‘Nuvvu Naaku Nachchavu’ and ‘Malleeshwari’ in the past, he will be wielding megaphone for the first time for Venkatesh’s film. Producer of this movie would be DVV Daanayya and project might go on sets by this year end.

Sources say that Trivikram is to re-invent his image by erasing the bad remark of making the film for nearly two years. Hmm…Trivikram wants to complete this Venky’s film in below six months. Let us see, how it goes.

Kaleja News : Mahesh Babu turns 35

The Prince of Tollywood mahesh babu and son of veteran super star Krishna turned 35 on Monday with scores of his fans and peers offering birthday greeting to the charming actor. There was a huge crowd waiting to greet him at Padmalaya studios in the morning.

The sixth-time State Nandi awards winner within a span of ten years, Mahesh will shortly be seen in a daring flick titled `Khaleja'. The actor was not seen in a film for overtwo years the disappoinmnet of his ardent fans. The fans have to wait for three years to see mahesh babu on screen.

For all those Prince and Super Star Fans, here is a special news from parents of mahesh babu. Attending a program to celebrate the birthday of mahesh babu, Super Star Krishna and his wife Vijaya Nirmala were confident that mahesh babu is going to secure a double hat trick very soon.

‘After the big gap in completion of Khaleja, Mahesh agreed for six projects till now which will be completed and released very quickly. He is determined to give three movies per each year. As Mahesh has become a big hero, I need heavy budget to direct him and a good story. Iam trying to work out a James Bond movie and Mahesh will be the only hero who looks great for the role. It will be mostly the remake of ‘Gudachari 117’ and iam waiting for the time to arrive,’ Vijaya Nirmala expressed her happiness.

Speaking about mahesh babu achievements as a child artist, Krishna said ‘Dounde garu, the most famous director after watching Mahesh’s performance in Poratam said that he is to become the Future Super Star and his words are coming true.’
